Along with this hobby, I also love to watch YouTube videos. And these cookies were made my Gabriella (known as Velvetgh0st) and when I watched this video I immediately drove to the shop and brought all the ingredients.
You will need:
A mixing bowl
A baking tray
Grease proof paper
A whisker (or just a folk)
A tablespoon
A sieve
125g of caster sugar
125g of butter
225g self raising flour
1 large egg
And any chocolate you may desire...
1. Firstly, pre heat your oven to 190 degrees.
2. Then, add the caster sugar and butter into a bowl and stir together until everything has mixed in.
3. After, add the egg into the mixing bowl and whisk everything together.
4. Then, begin to sieve the flour into the mixing bowl. For this, I added a little bit of flour and then mix, added a little bit of flour, then mix. Keep doing this until you've added all of the flour.
5. Other than actually eating the cookies, this is the fun part. Add as much chocolate as you want!
Clearly this wasn't enough for me, so I added more...
6. Mix the chocolate in to the cookie dough mixture and then with a table spoon, scoop out pieces of the mix and place them onto the baking tray with grease proof paper on. This makes it easier to remove the cookies and it stops them from getting stuck to the baking tray.
7. Simply bake until golden brown (about 8 to 10 minutes, depending on how big or small you have made your cookies!
8. Take them out of oven and leave to cool. And they should look a little something like this...
These cookies tasted amazing (if I do say so myself)! Give them a go!
